Resolution passed by the Executive Council of the Rutgers Council of AAUP Chapters, AAUP-AFT on March 22, 2006 in support of Tent State University:
Whereas, Tent State University is a student-organized event at Rutgers University advocating for quality, affordable higher education, and
Whereas, Tent State University has stood in support of fair contract settlements for AAUP members - faculty, PTLs, TA/GAs, and EOF Counselors, and
Whereas, Tent State University encourages student activism and civic involvement, therefore
Be It Resolved that the Rutgers Council of AAUP Chapters, AAUP-AFT, endorses the fourth annual Tent State University which will be held from April 17 – 21, 2006.
Be It Further Resolved that the Rutgers Council of AAUP Chapters, AAUP-AFT, will encourage its members’ participation in Tent State University.
