Media Campaign
Contact Professor Dan Cook (Childhood Studies Department): dtcook@camden.rutgers.edu

Purpose: Continuing to speak with the media about our opposition to the merger proposal and support for a consortium plan,
pointing out the assets our proposal brings to South Jersey,
instead of the unknown and likely highly expensive merger plan.
If you'd like to work on our media campagin, please contact Dan Cook.

Dedicated Website

We are preparing a dedicated website where members can easily reach out to members of the Board of Governors (BOG) and Board of Trustees (BOT) to point out problems with the merger plan and the advantages of a consortium plan. The webiste will have our media links, press releases, and other information. We'll let you know when it is up and running.

Alumni Outreach

Purpose: organizing outreach to Rutgers alums. You'll be asked to work with your department to reach out to your former students and
present them with information about what they can do.
Ira Roseman from the Psychology Department is coordinating this effort:
roseman@camden.rutgers.edu

Student Petition Efforts and Advocacy

Purpose: Organizing and supporting student advocacy in conjunction with undergraduate students on behalf of Rutgers-Camden. TA member in the Childhood Studies department, Anandini Dar, is coordinating this effort: anandini@camden.rutgers.edu

Research Committee

Purpose: Establish a research committee so we can educate political leaders about what it takes to make a make a Carenie-designated Research I University. Julie Still, librarian, is in charge of this work group:
still@camden.rutgers.edu

We are working with the AAUP-AFT legal team and staff members' time is being dedicated to helping us organize, research, work with other unions, and communicate with members, the media, and the public. Your help is needed.

To volunteer:
please contact Camden professor, Janet Golden in the History Department, who is heading up overall coordination at jgolden@camden.rutgers.edu
