The salary increases awarded for the Fiscal Year 2008-2009 of the Faculty Compensation Program (FCP) were conducted under the provisions of the 2007-2011 Agreement between Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey and Rutgers Council of AAUP-AFT in Article VIII as an "enhanced" salary process (which replaced the previous FASIP procedure). The distribution of the enhanced salary increases made from state funds have been analyzed. The data are provided in the following links.
Analysis of the 2008-09 Enhanced Faculty Compensation Program for State-Funded Faculty by:
We welcome comments from our members on your assessments of the salary program and its distributions. Our foremost concern is the continued substantial exclusion of non-tenure-track faculty from the enhanced salary program. In proportions that far outweigh any other category of rank, gender, origin, campus, or department, the non-tenure-track faculty (here including only state-funded faculty who are primarily assigned to teaching duties) either do not participate in the program at all or participate and receive no salary increase.
